  While a little out of the way, it is only 10 minutes from town. We've been 4 times now across the last 3 years and the snails have been prepared perfectly EVERY time. Something I know other restaurants have not perfected. They are so tender as well, not like the rubbery experience of other places.

  Had a wonderful experience with family members last weekend. Fantastic venue , very friendly staff and the meals were enjoyed by all. I had the salmon with Mediterranean vegetables and it was delicious. I think the prices were very reasonable as well. Can't wait to go back !

  We went as a group of 4 to the italian night about 6 months ago. The meals were beautiful and delicious. Accompanied by matching wines from a local winery. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff most helpful. We even received a few snails to try which weren't on the menu that night. Vincenza and Doug are a very welcoming and amazing couple and hosts. Always up for a chat. Their homemade salami is to die for. I had lunch with a girlfriend another time and it was tasty and cooked with lots of love and passion. I recommend Cafe Escargot for anyone, even as a over night stay. And no, you don't need to eat snails :-)

  Yes they have food that doesn't involve snails. Their "tapas" is the best value!!

  Worst breakfast I have had in my life, I feel like I'm going to be sick. The "chorizo" looked and tasted horrendous and I felt sick for hours after just touching the meal as did the other 2 members of our group. There is no way this positive reviews of this place can be legit - its a crazy set up and every part of the "meal" was atrocious! If you had bothered asking how are meal was instead of how we found your terrible restaurant (after we waited ten minutes for you to come back so we could pay from farming or alternative therapies which seem to be the main part of your business) you would have known that everyone was completely dissatisfied and horrified - easily the worst "restaurant" I have been to in my life. I've never bothered to write a negative review in the past but I feel like people need to be warned of how awful Cafe Escargot is - the absolute pits
